Problem solving for dummies
I love the human brain. Didn't touch my computer at the weekend. And today at work on the toilet I knew the reason why my program kept crashing at random points when SlimDX wants a value type you should give one to it. And of course it's a bad idea to have reference types stored in this value type.
This explains why I got random AccessViolation exceptions which were not reproducable. I must be the only person that managed to fuck up memory in a managed programming language (no I didn't touch the checkbox).
Seems like my motivation is back :)
