Customizing the resolution of MS Remote Desktop

If you want to change the resolution of a remote desktop window to one that is not available via the settings of the remote connection you have to execute mstsc /w:1152 /h:864 /v:server in cmd or from the Run... dialog.

This would change the resolution of the window to 1152x864. After you called this once you can use the shortcut you would normally do. The settings will be saved.
